I have the cookie 1.6.1q cab downloaded and was curious on if this is possible. I have the calander text removed and the call history button inserted. however I still get the calander info ( ie.. all day events and appts. I have checked in the editor to hide calander text but it wont go away, i would like to remove everything related to the calander off of the today screen. also is there a cab to remove the my location text that is on the today screen?
Under: Show Appointments in the CHT Editor, there are 3 options.
You need to select the first option in that category, to Always Hide Appointments.

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (March 7th version 1.6.1)

Here is a pic of my home screen. I want to get rid of the calender text, while having the quicklinks hidden and the call history tab showing. I would also like to get rid of the my location text as well as not having the weather being shown. I have Santods clear calendar page as well as no calendar date background .cab already installed and I have in editor hide all appts however it still shows! What am I doing wrong? Please help.

Did you select the setting I mentioned in the post right above yours?
Sounds like you selected "Auto Hide" for the appointments.
You need to select "Always Hide".

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (March 7th version 1.6.1)

I just wanted to say I upgraded to MightyROM's latest, which utilizes the official Sprint release of WM6.5. The Cookie Home Tab Mod works great on my phone! Since I don't use many quick links (have only 4) I like this mod for the inclusion of more than one calendar appointment. The TP2 is a business-class phone. Why they would only list one appointment on the home screen makes no sense to me. I can understand allowing us the option to have just one or more appointments show, since you can go to Agenda View in the calendar, but I like having time, weather, appointments and alarms all on the front screen. All I gotta do is wake up the phone, glance at the home screen, and put it back to sleep. I love it.

By the way, my Home Screen Timeout set to 1 hour never worked for me with the last MightyROM, which made it annoying since I frequently glance at my phone when I'm in a hurry. I'll have to pay attention and see if it works with this latest ROM.

I don't have this on mine. I did have CHT Editor 1.6.1, but installed the advance config over it. I can't figure out how to make changes.

Can you tell me how to do this as well?

I've already used the "Weather Animation On/Off Switch" button you can add as a quick link w/ Cookie Mod. I switched Animation off with that button.

Is there anything else I need to do?

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (March 7th version 1.6.1)

You need to install both, The Co0kie Home Tab Mod and the CHT Editor, and soft reset. Then tap the CHT Editor icon in your Start Menu. All changes are made by selecting the appropriate check box.
