Yes you could do just that.
Uninstall the new one.
Reset.
Then install the old one, it will say that it wants to remove the old one first, say ok, it will say it failed to remove, do you want to install anyway?
Say yes. Then it will install, when it's done and asks you to reset, hit CANCEL.
Then install it again, it will not prompt you to remove this time and will install.
Now reset. Then uninstall, reset, and then install the new one.

That is the process for removing anything you ever install on WinMo where it overrides an older mod and stops it from uninstalling.
PITA, but does the job. You decide if you want to do it.
It's actually not as long a process as it sounds. But long enough.

Ok I think I did it now and I appreciate your help. But no sense having it in my list if it wasn't going to let me remove it. And I wish I would of just uninstalled it to begin with. But now I am at the last step installing new one again and I think the old one is gone. I'll double check my list. Yep it's gone and you even said I should of uninstalled it 1st so now it's gone and new one is installing. I deleted the old cab file so it's not even on my memory card anymore. Someone on the Sprint forum had directed me there and I guess I just got the wrong one.. But thanks again I'm all fixed. Time for bed

Sorry for any confusion.
Perhaps I should just remove the one that only does portrait mode.

I'm all good now thanks. Someone told me about this cookies something to download and it can give you up to 75 quick links and other stuff. If I install that it won't mess with my all backgrounds or getting rid of my black borders will it? It says this has a missed call that only shows if you have a missed call and it has some other stuff. I wanted to try it.. But thanks for all your help. Rose

Using new Sprint 6.5 rom and the remove quick links background is not working. They are still there and cant seem to figure out why. Any help would be great.

There is one to remove the background when they are selected and another called Stealth Launcher Links, which makes the unselected ones invisible.

Without downloading GT2L tweaks and cleanup cabs is there a way on Sprint 6.5 to change the amount of tabs in Opera to be set to more than 3?

How to Increase Number of Tabs in Opera Mobile




By default Opera Mobile can only support up to 3 tabs for browsing. This can be annoying for many people who use mobile to do most of the Internet usage.
The number of tabs available on Opera Mobile can be increased by modifying the config file.
1. Type Opera:Config in the URL and click enter. You can see the Preference editor for Opera Mobile.

2. Type “Maximum Allowed Tabs” in the search box and click enter. Here you can enter the value for number of tabs you would like to have.

Okay Santod I really appreciate your work. I have a question. I installed cookie home tab and it works great. I also want to select different portrait and landscape wallpapers. I see the cabs on the first post but I can't seam to find the cab that includes this feature. Can you help?
