I was going to recommend you use GC's Arcsoft. I've heard from people on Verizon that it works. Since I'm on Alltel, I can't confirm, though. If I get the thumbs up from you, I'll put it in my collection of cabs on post 1.

Thanks

That did it! Thanks man! After a soft reboot it added both MMS and Video as options for sending pictures/videos.

Re: WM 6.5 - 23007 (17-July-2009)

I have updated post #1 with information on setting up MMS on here. Since I can't verify that these work on each carrier, please let me know if any of them crash and burn. Also, please let me know if you have working cabs for any other carriers, and I'll update my collection.

Thanks everyone!
Ivan

Hi there -- just wondering how I might be able to get the taskbar battery meter back after having disabled the dci(?) colored bar. Really enjoying the rom, will enjoy it more once I can see how much battery life I have left!

Most likely, the way to retrieve your battery meter is to create a new shortcut in your StartUp menu.

Open File xplorer, and naviagte to your Program Files directory. You'll see the two executable files in there (dciBattery.exe and qwertyMemeory.exe). Use your stylus and make a long press on dciBattery.exe and select Copy from the menu. Navigate to Windows\StartUp and do another long press. Now select Edit -> Paste Shortcut. Now you can simply click the link you just created to launch it immediately. It will also start automatically on soft resets.

If you "disabled" it as you mentioned above, you may need to use whichever program you used to disable to re-enable. I've used SKTools before to enable/disable StartUp items.

Thanks. I have a newer version for Alltel that works on my ROM in the directory already, but I'll keep that on hand as a backup in case mine ever gets funky.

Many thanks for the quick response, but I think I was a little unclear in my OP.

I don't particularly like the dci/qwerty meters, so removed the shortcuts from startup (that is what I meant by disabled ). I was wondering if there is a way to get a standard battery meter icon back in the taskbar next to the volume, signal strength etc.

Ah, easy fix. Go to Start -> Settings -> Clock & Alarm -> More and uncheck the option to "Display the clock on the title bar in all programs"

Re: WM 6.5 - 23007 (17-July-2009)

Both 23008 and 23009 were released today. There is very little difference between the previous release (23007) and these two new builds. On top of that, 23009 was leaked by a different source than most of the previous builds. I built a ROM from it and found some serious problems, so I will not be releasing my 23009. Simply put, I am not confident that it's from a trusted source.

23008 was from our most respected distributor, though. I built a ROM from it, and it is on my phone right now. It looks, feels and reacts just the way many of the recent builds have. I honestly don't see anything new with it and memory usage is exactly the same.

But because I know how much everyone loves to flash, I am releasing a brand spanking new 23008A just for you:

If you'd rather stick with 23007B, that's totally fine. You are honestly not missing anything noticeable with this update.
