This is sweet... you can remove the pointless tabs and move everything around easily.. I was able to remove some of the hoggish tabs and M2D is now actually working well.. much faster and it is only eating 2.9mb now which is totally tolerable.

I removed Internet/Photo/Music which I find all of them to be pointless and I honestly think Music was taking the most memory but I haven't really done any testing.. this is good too because in addition to removing the tabs, I also didn't install all the cabs those ones require as well so ended up saving a lot of memory on the device all around. I also didn't install Opera Mobile cuz I think it's too much of a pig on our devices... prefer Mini and can launch that from the IE button... photos is pointless and the viewer was kinda dumb compared to Resco.. and don't get me started about the music player.

just fyi for those who like m2d but didn't liek the extra junk and/or people who want to tone down the memory it takes. check out that customizer app!
Thats big news Thanks for the update zen!

and as far as youtube.. mine works fine now... but i'm still a no-go on videos being played using album player...
Gonna have to check which version of the album i'm using. I had installed the one included in the step by step but found another version on XDA I think that worked with the video play. Let me see if I can find the cab.

EDIT: I think it was the Matsogo version that got it working. And this fix file too.

Just FYI, the MastSogo_AudoMgr2-Album_Video_Fix__WWE.zip you posted has both the HTC Album and Audio Manager in it already.

That's what I thought. It's just that they never post if it's just a "fix" file to add to the app or the app WITH the fix. Thanks.

Re: 2D QVGA Manilla released - any chance for the Titan?

I have to say that I am really happy with the last update. EVERYTHING WORKS but one small thing. On the programs tab the all program button doesnt work. Other than that everything works. I also have 21 mb. Im running no2chem nuerom3. OUTSTANDING. I ran my phone all night. Opening and closing programs, opening programs and leaving them open, etc etc. The lowest my memory dropped was to 15 mb and that was with opera running, s2p, and sprint tv. This is the best my phone has EVER ran. Thanks to the folks to XDA, and PPCgeeks. WOW.

Hey Zenoran thanks for the link to xda

I agree with you that Manilla 2D has alot of bloat in it, I personally only use the "Home, Messaging, Email, Weather, Settings, and Launcher" tabs

I am the author of the Customizer and am hoping that it will keep my interest long enough so that I can develop it into a program that is as useful as HTC Home Customizer

I am a Titan owner and I check in on this forum a couple of times a day, so feel free to send a PM to me here or over at xda with any feedback/requests for the Manilla 2D Customizer

so just to be sure, we only install the first link correct, it's all we need? not the second 'in addition'?

Yeah, but I think I installed both. Whatever I did it got the album to play my video files. Only thing is that it doesn't play it in landscape mode, only portrait. It's weird cuz the players' controls are landscape but the video is portrait. But you can use your screen rotater option to turn it to landscape. Would be nice though if it did it automatically.

BTW, did you read my PM?
