Re: Offical Sprint 3.56 MOGUL 6.1 Rom is now posted at HTC.com

Like I have said before It was a test site that HTC created for sprint to verify it was working and the information on it. The Files were the true release files HTC just messed up and had the page accidently show up... And of course Sprint found out...

Links will be posted there again Monday when the Rom was/Is officially going to be released...

having some issues with this rom.

1. the text message notification keeps changing to no alert after a few hours or text messages. i have to go back and reset the notifications again. have done this about 3 times today.

2. after a soft reset, get a error for cpog.exe not starting

3. seems like this is eating up more ram than the test rom 3.49.651.

anyone else have any of these issues?

alphamabox.....I don't know about the text message alerts, I haven't had any texts since I applied the update. I've not had the other issues though. My memory utilization is actually about the same. I've always thought it was high. I'm doing real time sync to an exchange server and using bluetooth so I'm sure that contributes to the high memory usage.

1. Are you using Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta 1 (the official public version)? If so, that is causing the notifications to resets.

2. No idea on this, it would be helpful to know what you've installed.

3. I have experienced the opposite. On a clean setup, I have 23-24MB free. Only when I install my own programs does it drop below 20, so again, it would help to know what you have installed.

Nope, the current Opera 9 Beta builds all do that. Only thing you can do is either use skyfire or the current stable Opera 8.

Thanks for the info on opera... and as far as the memory issue, i have installed the same exact thing on both roms.

htc home, spb pocket plus and memaid. those are the 3 main programs installed on the phone and not much anything else. on a fresh soft reset i'm at about 20mb free and then as i use the phone it drops to about 17mb free on the test rom... on the 3.56 i'm starting at 17 and dropping to about 15 or 14mb free.

i'm not having issues with lockups but just noticed the memory difference between the test and 3.56 official rom. i know that by running the spb and htc home i'm going to run on the heavy side but this has been the same setup i have ran on this phone for the last 6 months. just wanted to note that 3.56 seems to not handle the memory as well as the test 3.49 rom and i didn't have any issues with cprog.exe errors.

What happened to the link you had on the Vogue site? I downloaded it from the link you had there. Now when you click it, you get a page not found error. I did not install it though, it seemed to be the same as the DCD leaked version.
