Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
I'm stuck at the olipro page - so I've obviously missed something.
It says TITA100 MFG SPL-2.40.Olipro CPLD-9 In upper right corner is says RUUNBH At the bottom in the white bar it shows 'USB' Unit does not connect to Activesync. Time to start searching - I've seen this in other threads - or please post a response. |

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
OK - I misunderstood the part about disabling the USB connection in Activesync. Ran ImCoKeMaN's titan_exitbl.exe - fixed prob.
Device back up under Verizon Rom and now continuing with Sprint Rom flash |

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
Loading the Sprint Rom went fine. Stopped at setup screen - activesync still worked at that point.
Got Nex Visions Alpha 1 rom and renamaed it an put it on a fat32 1G SD card. Did the camera/power/reset button boot and it flashed. It seems slow in picking up Verizon - I wonder if I need to run the Carrier Cab? |

always worth a try, also try doing a hard reset sometimes when a flash goes through, it needs a hard reset to get all its processes in prime shape. |

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
Tried hard reset - no change.
Installed carrier cab 200807706 - rebooted and Today screen hosed. Hard reset again - does that clear the cab? shouldn't I'd think. Anyway still having trouble connecting to the Verizon Network -> Searching... |

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
did you do the *28 send or whatever it is for verizon?
and yes, a hard reset removes the installed carrier cab (I believe) |

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
I tried that once and it failed.
Right now I don't have a connection to Verizon's network to do the *228 I'm going to grab a sandwich and I'll see if my connection changes. Otherwise, I'll try installing the Cab again. |

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
do install the cab, then do the *228 send if that doesn't work, you probably need a new A key. call verizon, and say you did a hard reset on your phone (dont mention the new rom) and its not authenticating
I read the info on that rom you loaded and it said it would clear your settings, so you probably picked the most pain in the butt rom to start off with lol. its probably the a-key. |
