Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom

Color me confused.

OK, So...

1) olipro 2.40
2) Flash Radio ROM to 3.42.30
3) Flash Sprint GPS Image (please supply a version # of one that will work so I can download it)
4) Run nueSPL 2.47
5) Flash latest Sprint Image (supply ver # here too please)
6) Flash VZW Custom ROM to overwrite the Sprint Image
7) Install VZW Carrier Cab if not done automatically with the image.

Does that about cover it? Seems a tad bit easier if you're with Sprint (DOH!)

1) olipro 2.40
2) Flash official sprint rom release off of htc's website
3) flash whatever custom rom you like
4) Install VZW Carrier Cab if not done automatically with the image.
5) install nueSPL (optional)

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom

What about the radio ROM update - or is that covered by using the HTC Sprint ROM?

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom

So - I found:RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3.35.651.2_RS_TITAN_3.3 5.04_4305H_SPCS_AM_Ship.exe on the FTP site. Will this image do for the Sprint image or is there a better option? I went to HTC and couldn't find an image file there. Also if I use this image, should I upgrade to the 3.42.30 radio before flashing a vzw custom image?

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom

I'm stuck at the olipro page - so I've obviously missed something.
It says TITA100 MFG
SPL-2.40.Olipro
CPLD-9
In upper right corner is says RUUNBH
At the bottom in the white bar it shows 'USB'
Unit does not connect to Activesync.
Time to start searching - I've seen this in other threads - or please post a response.

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom

OK - I misunderstood the part about disabling the USB connection in Activesync. Ran ImCoKeMaN's titan_exitbl.exe - fixed prob.
Device back up under Verizon Rom and now continuing with Sprint Rom flash

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom

Loading the Sprint Rom went fine. Stopped at setup screen - activesync still worked at that point.

Got Nex Visions Alpha 1 rom and renamaed it an put it on a fat32 1G SD card. Did the camera/power/reset button boot and it flashed.

It seems slow in picking up Verizon - I wonder if I need to run the Carrier Cab?
