Ok, i know where the menu is. i guess my question is if the phone automatically will switch to roaming, why is this hack necessary? Is it if you go in and out and end up dropping calls?

going through the registry.... there are a lot of changes compared to 6.1 (those of you who were running cooked roms are probably much more familiar than i)

i'm trying to find the key to change what happens when you press and hold the end button. by default it puts the phone into flight mode; i would like it to terminate the data connection. in 6.0 it was very simple, you just did this

Change HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA\
Change key: FlightModeSwitchByPnHEndKey to 0

also - the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing] "Extension"="rilphone.dll" is gone - that used to supposedly report tethering to sprint. it'll be interesting to see if tethering issues now pop up more frequently.

The reason people would want this is if they have problems with the native sprint service being spotty while the roam service is better. Therefore, if they want to make sure they don't drop calls when the native service drops out.

Go to this link http://www.corolada.com/prl/. Then download the Sprint PRL file you were using. Save it to your phone, and remember where you put it. Then from the phone dialer ##778#, edit, enter your MSL, and tap OK. Then select view info, PRL, update PRL file, and browse and select the file you download. Then menu, OK, and OK to reboot. Hope this helps. My battery is running down quick at work, do to the increased roaming with the new PRL. But the flipside is the dropped calls before, so for me it still is an improvement.

Will these newer, better versions work on ROM 3.35.651.2?

Not sure abou the Nav software. But, I myself could not get the Sprint TV cab to work. I had to used the hacked Titan version with that old rom. Stock that is....

Has anyone found a way to enable Internet Connection Sharing yet? This is a deal breaker for me and I'll be downgrading if it's not possible.

The second drop down menu (cannot remember what was on it) is not available on the program anymore.
