Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

Has anyone come up with a solution for the roaming issue? I'm locked in roam here at my house everytime I reboot. It will only use a sprint tower when I force it to only sprint in settings. I can then switch it back to roam and it will stay on sprint. Obviously not a very efficient way to do this!

Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

I just tried TomTom7 without primer and mine worked. It did seem to take an extra couple seconds to lock on though. I have been using Astro GPS Launcher for the past couple months. I think I will still use it as it seems quicker to lock.

Also tried SPB Backup 2.0.0 and had the same lockup as most others, then tried Sprite Backup 6.2.2 and it backed up fine. I haven't tried to restore using either though.

Re: New Official Sprint ROM (3.56, radio 3.42.20)

I have been using this rom for 2 days now and have to say THIS ROM SUCKS. The shiznic has been lockin up ramdomly. The WM6.1 custom roms I have been using are much more stable and have more availible memory. Too much bloat.

Well that is a very odd sounding issue; I'm not experiencing that one. I haven't read anyone else with that either. I haven't been able to find a way to get the roaming registry entries to stick after a reboot, but it will indeed stick to whatever setting you last had it on. If you're leaving it on Roaming and rebooting the phone, it will stay on Roaming until you go back in the settings and change it to something else. That's normal behavior.

And actually I just put those entries in both locations and soft reset, and they were removed.
Not sure what happened for yours to do that but I have tried it on two different phones and it works.
