You two are talking about two unrelated things. Run as Admin should not be needed with the current release of BuildOS, and your Unable to connect problem when trying to run exit bootloader is always a function of one or more of a) ActiveSync/WMDC still running and attached to device, b) driver problems (WMDC sometimes needs to be reinstalled), c) your phone is not in bootloader mode, or d) you have USB port/cable issues

Since I did uncheck the use usb checkbox, I assume its a driver issue and a limitation of Vista which is too bad, but well, I can get used to that.

I have the same problem with the PPCGeeks_OEM.rar. The file size matches and the RAR extracts fine. But BuildOS reports that "File create error".

When I use Process Monitor from Microsoft (Sysinternals), I can see that there's a name collision as BuildOS is trying to recreate the temp folder in my ApplicationData folder, after that it just stops.

and I havd just reinstalle unlocker 2.40 but still not able to flash the 3.35 radio.. still getting the same message.. any help?

I'm getting the same file create error from BuildOS. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, updated and downloaded manually. I just cant get past this problem.

Reinstall WMDC and try again. There's no non-correctible reason you should be able to flash from XP and not Vista.

Has anyone played around with the NAM settings. What is better NAM 1, NAM 2 or auto NAM? I get bad reception where I live and was wondering if this will help. I am on Verizon.

IM having a keyboard problem.. when i use the slide out keyboard, and click on th eblue, and a #"0" it adds the old text i typed, instead of a "0".. if i do it on the on screen keyboard it workks fine..
