Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

I think I figured out the mystery to this and it was self-inflicted. Knowing that all OEMs end up in the \Windows directory is key. I have a script that copies over some default files and one of them is the edited HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml file which I copy along with the otherwise empty HTC Home folder. Apparently HTC customizer is seeing this folder and is copying my selections here and not into \Windows where HTC Home is running from. I appreciate the education and once again thanks!

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

Anyone know how to get the font back to the way no2chem had it before the "official" 5060 ROM? I had originally jury-rigged his 5060 basekit and got it working fine overall, but switched to the official one last night after some major bluetooth problems. Now two of his customizations that I liked don't seem to be right: font and time/date on the taskbar. The font, although seemingly the right size and style (and his nueFONTS app confirms it), looks very rough in some places... kind of the way text looks on an LCD screen when set to the wrong resolution. And I can't figure out how to get the date AND time to display on the taskbar the way no2chem has it in his ROMs.

You must select cleartype as well to have the clean look and if you pull no2chem_Registry_setTitleBar from the registry folder in your makeshift 5060 and add it to your USER_OEM folder it will work just fine.

I haven't seen this mentioned, so maybe I missed it. Has the Voicemail Today Plugin been removed from the kitchen? It was an option when I used the 5060 basekit.

I tried copying OEM_VoicemailTodayPlugin from DCD's 3.0.1 kitchen into my USER_OEM directory, selected it in the kitchen, but it doesn't show up as an option in my Today Items. Does that mean the format of adding items to the Today screen has changed?

There is known problems with importing stuff from dcd's kitchen to no2's and vice versa (some things work fine) I would recommend looking thru your 5060 basekit and adding it from there.

I don't see the Voicemail Today Plugin in the 5060 basekit. I did find it in the 5046 basekit and will try that one.

Can anyone confirm that this used to be in the PPCGeek's kitchen and was removed? How can I get it back?
