Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

Ok, somebody help. I just reformated, installed vista (to try it out). Just installed BuildOS and I can't log in. I've tried everything. Yes, I did run it as administrator. Is there something I'm missing. Worked fine before with xp.

BuildOS won't let me in anymore. It says "Login Failed for scottmail". I was using it just fine last night.

BuildOS server is down. You may not be able to log in or create a new account until then.
Sorry. It will be back up soon.

and THAT is the reason that you don't force people to create accounts or use a login/pass to use a free product. Don't get me wrong, the product is appreciated & works fantastic - the use of a login/pass for whatever reasons you're using them for is now a moot point because now no one, potentially, can use the kitchen. IMHO an update that makes the connection to your servers optional, perhaps via the File/Tools/Help menus needs to be released. If not - oh well. Helps avoid future issues like this.... then again what do I know.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Their program, their rules.

I see your point, but I'm not in favor of complaining as these guys have completely rekindled my love affair with my 6800.

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

I was able to get in (after uninstalling, re-installing and more futzing around) by turning off or unplugging my Internet connection. When BuildOS saw no connection available, it started up anyway. Did the updater before doing that though.

And if I could make a suggestion.... an option to turn off the sounds. The Swedish Chef and the other Muppets, after a couple dozen times, get a bit annoying. Tried to delete the sound files, got an application error so I resorted to replacing them with empty sound files properly renamed.

Believe me, your work is VERY much appreciated, especially by us spurned Bell Mobility users.

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

i have (hopefully) a simple question. i used this kitchen and am really impressed. it has everything i need.

one program i use alot is wmwifirouter. i set the security using wep. now after using this kitchen i went into the connection setting to try to set up my security key, but there wasn't a wifi icon to be found? any idea on what i can do? this is kind of important and i'm hoping i'm just missing a setting somewhere
