Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

The 2nd splash screen is an animated sprint logo for stock rom. Don't think that's in the kitchen. I don't think the original HTC splash is in the list of the kitchen either.

I've been trying to use the Updater in BuildOS, but everytime I do it errors. I've tried each update seperately and gotten this error.

File PPC-BuildOS.exe not found. Ok or More. More says The file is not available on the server.

I manually downloaded the exe and installed w/ the defaults. The version from Help > About is version .9 05 w/ a date of 4/17/2008.

Is the updater using ports other then HTTP and FTP? If so that could be the problem.

good question! they were talking about it earlier in kitchen chat, but i was at work and not really able to pay attention. from what i remember, wasnt too hard though.

looking at my chat logs, found this:
To make animated work, you have to include AnimatedSplash OEM in addition to selecting an image.
then under Boot Options, you must select the Startup Animation also.

I love the work you have done on the base and also the work put into the Cooking tools at PPCKitchen.org. I ran into a issue using the 5060 build where the Symbol Pad was not working after building a rom including the symbolpad included in the base kit. I ended up extracting the Symbol Pad OEM Package from DCD 3.0.1 ROM and adding it to the USER OEM Folder, after compiling the rom with this package it seemed to work.

Can someone explain this in detail? I have no clue how to extract symbol pad from dcd's rom.

seen similiar issues over in the apache forum about the updater getting errors, even when trying 1 at a time, reports indicate that manuel downloading works, but perhaps one of the kitchen team can post comments about this...

what is the error?
do you have Olipro 2.40 bootloader?
have tried takin the nbh and puttin it into a blank RUU?
