Does this radio update also give me GPS capibility?

Thanks,
You can use the sprint update to upgrade your radio, but don't let the sprint customizations run on your phone.

Easier to just grab the radio itself from the link in the opening post. It only contains the upgraded radio.

they could have picked a better way to word that for sure!

I guess it's a sprint thing?

Is there a more in-depth list of explanations for each of the module choices in the kitchen? The popup descriptions are helpful, but some are less than descriptive. I wouldn't be opposed to trying everything out myself, but I have a feeling some choices are above my head.
Right-click->View Website is available for most options.
There's also a growing library of screenshots you can get to by using the View menu.

Tierman - Are there any surefire methods to get SD flashing to work.... I can't seem to get it to flash the radio via the SD card... I have done the following....

Gone to a DOS box and used a command line: format g: /FS:FAT32 /A:1024 /X

This was to properly format the card. Then took the radio.nbh and moved it to the card in the root directory and renamed it to: TITAIMG.nbh

Then proceded to goto bootloader mode and it "should" have found the image and flashed it right??? But it flashes a gray screen REAL quick that says: Image not found

Can you help me figure out why I can't flash any image using this method.... thx

TITAIMG is for ROM, not radio.

Also it's been reported that when flashing from SD, the card cannot be SDHC or bigger than 2gb.

To make animated work, you have to include AnimatedSplash OEM in addition to selecting an image.
then under Boot Options, you must select the Startup Animation also.
Anybody figure this out?

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

Yes. I actually created my own OEM with the OEMizer. I copied the sprint animation to the windows directory on the phone and it overwrote the default animation. This can only be done through the OEM I have found since the file is protected when the phone is on ... meaning I couldn't replace it using activesync. It had to be placed there at the time the rom is being built. In this case, the sprint animation needs to be named wmstartup_ani.gif. It worked perfectly. I have not been able to get it to work correctly with the kitchen by selecting the animation. Must be a bug or something.

Leave the settings set to disabled, it has been determined that when you select "enable" you are actually disabling rev a.
