Can someone please tell me what's up with the keyboard. I select the touch keyboard but i'm not able to use it. I don't even see anything for me to change it.

There are some issues with SIP (soft input panels) in these roms. However you should at least see it. If you installed SipChange, you can use that to set your SIP. Or, check at the bottom center where you usually change the input, is it not there?

When Opera Mini is included in the rom, it will not run after flash. I did install JAVA with it. Also, Viigo will not run due to a certificate issue. Am I doing something wrong. By the way, BuildOS rocks! Thanks!!!!

make sure you selected .NET framework in the kitchen.

It doesn't show up in sip change or at the bottom when the arrow is pressed.

I too have this issue; even with SipChange it wont load when selected.

Anyone who has been watching what goes on in the Apache board on PPCGEEKS is aware of who Jeff is.

Until a little less then a year ago; he was one of the most respected folks on this site; having made one of the most popular Clean & Simple roms for the Apache that ever existed.

Ironically it all came to an end when he made the mistake of doing exactly what you suggested he do.... he took all of his tips, tweaks, and customizations and gave Apache users a customized kitchen that everyone could use.

You know - exactly what Dogguy did with the Titan kitchen.

And just like Dogguy called his kitchen the Dogguy kitchen; Jeff called his kitchen the Kirvin kitchen (or something like that).

His read me file is almost identical word for word with the one found in Dogguy and DCD's kitchens.

And when he posted his kitchen for everyone to use (even inviting people to donate to everyone *but himself*); the problems began.

It seems that the "Official" kitchen was currently in development and that the kitchen team accused him of stealing their work (even though he credited them in his documentation).

This was done to him even though there were other self-named kitchens (JBabey for 1) in the Apache area who were not likewise scolded.

So Jeff's attitude arises from the way he felt he was treated by the very people whom he tried to help.

I'm not saying he was right or he was wrong (it wouldn't matter anyway since what's done is done); but do not assume that he has a chip on his shoulder for no reason.

And do not assume he is the only one who has experienced the wrath of the kitchen gods here at PPCGEEKS.

One of the most respected developers in the Titan area is DCD. His roms and kitchens are also extremely stable and are used by many (I've even ported his basekit to the new kitchen).

He also was verbally assaulted about his work on PPCGEEKS and packed up and left the site as a result. But unlike Jeff; DCD continued his work and released it over on XDA. And I have to say that I am very glad that he did. And his continued interactions with No2Chem cleary show that DCD is not the malcontent crack pot he was portrayed as by the powers that be on this site.

These folks have done wonderful work. But their attitude of "do as I say because I tell you to" does rub some people wrong (and their are plenty of posts around here to demonstrate that). And your comment of "make your own kitchen then" shows that you would even support doing what DCD and Jeff did (and were subsequently attacked for).

Exactly... I'm glad to see someone else thinks he was doing exactly what the rom team is doing.... That clearly illustrates the double standard.

By the way.... they didn't accuse of of stealing Colonel's work.... They accused him of stealing Helmi's work....
