Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060
Loaded BuildOS and flashed ROM (twice now) no real major issues. Still learning what all the pieces do, but satisfied that my phone is still functional after each tweak I make. I am looking for just a few minor answers/confirmations. One, being a verizon client, resetting and not letting custimizations run is the correct action? Two, I have the Device Lock installed since I wasn't happy with S2U2's memory usage, but I noticed that FTouchFlo Gestures still function to open their respective Apps. Of course, they immediately become un-usable due to Lock being on. Is this considered a bug? I don't see much harm in them being opened, but figure it's mostly just a minor annoyance. Thanks to all and I gladly threw a little cash y'alls way to keep the fun coming.

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060
i dont know what the deal is, I couldn't get my rom to boot for whatever reason. I was using the 5060 basekit, not the new kitchen, because some of the settings were better on that one, and it was easier for me to just use that instead of finding and moving OEMs, and whatnot, but anyways, I could NOT get it to boot with startup animation for some reason. I didn't change a single thing other than having the updated PPCGEEKS_OEM and the other OEM file that was updated in the kitchen. It works fine w/o the startup animation, but with it, no go, no matter how long the battery has been pulled, or how many hard resets, it gets stuck after the 2nd bootup screen (the one prior to the Windows Mobile 6.1 screen).

as long as you selected 'Verizon' in your Kitchen build, you will see Verizon Wireless all over your phone - and not a peep of Sprint.. |

Other problems you might be having would be if this is your first time booting a rom from the kitchen you will have to pull your battery out for a few seconds and put it back in. Another possibility, you didn't flash Stock Sprint 3.35 (found in the first post) after unlocking your phone, so you don't have the proper radio version to boot the rom.

ok, i understand the internet sharing thing now. i just thought since my phone would boot after flash, this was the reason. i flashed a different ROM, posted my question, and went to bed. now, a new day. so, how come we have to pull batteries with this kitchen? is this normal with most kitchens? thanks guys, cody update... i found the readme.no2chem.5060.txt hiding in there. did the battery pull/ hard reset and the same ROM that i tried last night worked today. thanks ppc geeks kitchen team, cody

It is not normal for a kitchen to require the battery to be pulled. It is necessary in this case because the overall partition structure was modified. |
