Thanks.
Well, you gave me an idea and sure enough, it was taking over at least one of the softkeys and when I disabled it, they came back from the keyboard -- the only strange thing is that it seems when I close the app, I get the phone window instead of the today screen, but that is no biggy.

The smartski mystery still remains, however.

Good stuff but you forgot to pu in the Audible Air program that comes on the sprint ROM. What kind of geek doesn't listen to Audio books!

i hate to do this but i can seem to find anything using the search feature. my question is about GPS on the Titan. my device is the rev a and i flashed to wm6.1 using kitchen (so I'm not a complete noob ) i checked a box to install iguidance, i think, however all i see in my prog list is a shortcut for "iguidance launcher" and its an invalid link...so i did some more research and found i can buy the software for $100 which is ridiculous because i could buy an entire GPS unit for that price. anyway i just want to know how i get GPS workin and what prog(s) i need. if they are links thats fine i will figure it all out my self but like i said search on the forum blows. my impression is you need a RevA device, a prog such as iguidance and then some way of enabling the GPS signal. can the progs be found in kitchen? if so what are they? i don't have a data plan right now so i am lookin for one that doesn't use internet.

the only GPS 'programs' in the kitchen are Google Maps and MS Live Search.
the iGuidance launcher is just a Primer app, which you need to 'open' your GPS port so it will lock on to some sats.. Which of course you would need, if you have the iGuidance software.. Same with TomTom and the others.

we don't support any warez here, so if you want a GPS program, go buy one.
but MS Live Search and Google Maps, are totally free..
My advice is to download a primer app called 'Holux' Gps Viewer.. search you should find it.. it has to install from your PC, through an Active Sync connection.
thats the best primer app out there in my opinion..
although some people say Google and MS Live don't need a primer .. so try them first..... YMMV.

uh huh.. thanks for the info. i never said anything about warez though... i was just wondering if my impressions were correct as far as what is required. with that said, if i were to install iguidance now will i need to do any configurations to get the launcher app to work or will it just work?

google maps and live search both require a data connection so thats not going to work for me right now.

I just bumped mobile shell 1.5 up to 2.0 for next update.
Pocket Plus is already 4.0 though. Is there a newer version available?

I just wanted to say a BIG THANKS to all of you guys for the hard work and I have donated and will continue to donate and want to remind everyone that is using the Kitchen that they should at least buy these a drink for all of their hard work. I can't wait for the next update. Are you going to use the new Alltel rom for a base? One question, sometimes when I dial #228 i get Verision instead of Alltel to reactivate my phone. Is there a fix for this?
