Yes, it would. We're debating between that and just forcing 3.5 to always be included.

Thank you for the info. Adding the .net fixed the problem. I think that should definitely be required in the rom. I can see no reason to not have it in there. If you want a WM device to run the software available, you have to have the basics of the the OS available. I just figured it was fluff or an upgrade since it was optional in the kitchen. I didn't realize that it was the core .net package.

Sorry I have taken so long to let you know that your tip was correct.

ok I flashed to the no2chem 5060... this thing is awesome but it drains alot of memory to reun ...when just normal apps are running im at 13mb free space and if i use tomtom ...it goes down to 6-7 mb free space...this is way too much compared to dcd'd rom....is there a way tp expand the running mem...or to conserve on memory space using this rom... ?

Um, are you having a problem? Memory is there to be consumed. There are various programs that reclaim memory and close apps.

yes..but it just goes over board sometimes....say if im browsing the net, it causes the system to be very slow ...and eventually hangs up with less than 2-3 Mb memory space! I haven't even install all the bells and whistles that is available with 5060 kitchen.. the dcd rom never ran short on memory even with multiple apps open...i guess i'll just play with this for a while and try to make adjustments with cooking a new one..and see what happens...but meanwhile any suggestion is welcome..

thank you
