Turn no2chem's ROM into a kitchen?

Yes, this is what I did.
1. downloaded the Base Kit
2. Removed OEM, ROM, and SYS folders
3. Copied these folders from the base kit

When I run buildos.bat there are no options to check as I have not put in any OEM's
When I run buildit.exe it comes up with the post that I posted above. Apparently the buildos is not putting in the right files that buildit is looking for.

Not a solution, but I figured out why the RUU was crashing.

I followed the steps and everything many times, reextracted the files etc... but nothing. When the RUU crashed AGAIN, I looked at the RUU_signed.nbh file, and ITS ONLY 1KB!

I am doing nothing wrong based on all the instructions given! I'm only using 2 OEMs, and it still doesnt work with those unchecked...

Anyone?

dont know if this will work but run prepit before you do anything, this will erase all the stuff there, then copy those files over and try again

Already tried that. But actually prepit is bad to run with a basekit because it actually removes any files not native to the original kitchen. So it pretty much removes everything other than Dogguys originals

I know that way everything is erased that you can paste the oem, system, rom folders in. Did you try and redownload the basekit?

pretty sure you are missing the os.nb file under the rom folder. It should say 8004000-os.nb. Check and see if that is in that file, if not run the 5044 rom in the input.nbh and that should put that file in the rom file, paste that somewhere else and then get clear all out again, then insert basekit and put the os.nb file in the rom file.

Yes, I am missing the OS.nb file! Could you clarifiy the instructions on the pasting the 5044 ROM? Its a bit confusing.

Sorry I meant the nbh file.

I put the 5044 nbh in the main folder and ran prepit.bat. I then ran buildos.bat and it errors out in building boot.hv. I have also copied the basekit OEM, ROM(not deleting the OS.nb file), and the SYS folders and ran the buildos.bat and it still errors out.

After you run prepit, you need to go to the rom file and move the os.nb file somewhere. Then remove oem,rom, system folders and replace with basekit folder. Then open the rom folder and put the os.nb file in it. Then you can run buildos.

Some confusion on my part cuz the os.nb file was in my rom folder in the beginning.
