Turn no2chem's ROM into a kitchen?

I was just wondering if it was possible to turn no2chem's ROM into a kitchen where I could add an OEM or 2. I know there is a basekit, but I am not sure at all on how to use it. Does anyone have instructions for this? Thanks

Basically remove the Rom, OEM, and SYS directories from the Doguys Kitchen and drop in the base kit. Then add in your own OEMs If you want No2Chem's optionals, then copy those directories into the SYS folder as well. Have Fun!

no2chem mentions extracting OS.nb from the .nbh file. I used NBHextract, and it says extracting OS.nb and nothing happens. Plus, once I remove it, where would I put it?

Thanks

using basekit should work. at least it should work with buildos. i don't really have the time to support custom kitchens, but the basekit should make it a drag and drop kind of thing for most kitchens, especially since i include the rom folder now.

This is how I finally got it to work. I am a newbie so dunno if this is the right way but it worked for me.

1. Download basekit
2. Download dogguy kitchen
3. Remove oem, rom, sys folders(also there should be no nbh file, if there is remove it. Not sure if you have to but that is what I did.)
4. Copy and past the oem, rom, sys folders from basekit to dogguy kitchen.
5. Add what you want to the oem file
6. Run buildos and check what you want.
7. Run buildit
8 Run ruu.
After the ruu runs it takes a bit to load, the latest does not have a welcome screen so you will have to tap on the white screen to complete setup. Hope this helps

Thanks for all the responses. I did all the steps mentioned above, however, when I run ROMupdateutility it crashes. Nothing gets flashed to the phone...

I'll wait for no2chems next basekit and try it from there. Thanks for all of your help!

What error do you get?

If your running prepit.bat on the nbh file from the newer No2Chem ROMS then it won't build as he uses a new method that changes the build RGU. I have no clue how that works but like he said the basekits work fine.
