This is my first time upgrading from no2chem rom to another no2chem rom. I have 5059 and would like to go to 5060 without a hitch.

Sorry if this thread is posted somewhere else, but couldn't find simple enough instructions.

What exactly is the easiest method to perform an upgrade.

I have the 5060 rom update along with RUU.

What is the procedure?

Same way you installed 5059... Extract the .nbh file from the 5060.rar you downloaded off the ftp and place it in your RUU folder and flash... simple, just remember it will wipe all data off your phone, so back up everything first.

just throw the .nbh file in the empty RUU and run. you already have SPL 2.40 installed since you had the 5054 build installed.

WeatherPanel not working is my only frustration with many of these last few builds. Any specific reason it isn't working?

i think i read that its a memory hog and has to do with the page pool. I am going back to 54 where it works... is there a higher number that wp is compatible with?

I'm having some trouble with the new basekit. Considering just working from the ROM, instead. Keeps not finding large numbers of packages or even the no2chem.png file.

No2, I have a question. I have had some trouble with the basekits you are releasing, I have got help from Nex and tried other things that others have done to get them to work from various postings in this and the kitchen thread with limited/varied success. The question I have is, shouldn't I just be able to download your basekit and copy the selections.txt file over and cook away? Are you using the same version/format kitchen?? Aren't these things all supposed to be "standards compliant?" I'm just trying to figure out if there is something wrong on my end or what the exact cause of the discrepancies are. Thanks
