in the rev. list it says that this is resolved in 55...

Oh, trust me. I did that. Did the options, double checked the registry and all it's keys, tried every combination of checks and options in the bluetooth section... Googled around and spent hours in here lookin and found at least one person having the same issue on every custom rom. Someone posted it was just a known issue with the 6.1 roms, so I guess for now I'm S.O.L.

Though, I could have sworn I had it working back in 5049 before I switched back to official. Went back yesterday and tried it and the same problem was there, so maybe I just remember it wrong. Still waiting for a reply from the person I PM'd who says they got it working to see what I'm overlookin. (Not a newbie, but I admit I'm not a PPC tech.)

It's not a huge problem, just an annoyance. I'm able to still use the BT Explorer and Resco Explorer to push/pull files just fine from my phone, I just cant have any other device initiate the transfer.

you are not alone......i also can send/pull, but not receive....on the device trying to send to me, the transfer instantaneously fails....i have noticed this on every version of both dcd's and no2chem's ROMs that i have tried(i.e. damn near all of them)....this works fine on all stock sprint ROMs...

artlan.....just found this...wanna try it?....i'm still on stock 3.35....

Hi, all. i had found a different registry changes on wm6 and wm6.1 actually on obex service. Here is:

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Obex]
"IsEnabled"=dword:1
1 = that's mean obex service will loaded at startup and u 'll be able for receiving files.
0 = That's mean unloaded obex service and disable receiving files

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Obex]
"ObexServiceMask"=dword:3
3 = that's if u check "receive all incoming beams" on settings->connection and u 'll be able to receiving files till u uncheck this.
2 = if u uncheck.

So, if you want to enable receiving files, make sure "IsEnabled" always at value "1". And for activated/deactivated it throught check or uncheck beam on settings->connections

Hehe yep, tried that last night also ^_^ Thanks for lookin for me though! Even tried turning the services on and off through here, and through the advanced config. On older roms I just get "Connection failed" but on the 53-55 ones I get "service not supported" or something like that.
