Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Help! I just installed 5059 and my alignment is now all off. I tried going to Settings -> Screen and aligning but every time I tap on the target nothing happens. Alignment was fine in 5055 and 5054 but it is off in 5059.

What can I do to fix this?

Yup. Takes me ~10 seconds for first lock, even indoors.

Hmm, so works with stock, 5054 and below, but not since? And mine takes a long time to lock... what could be going on here?

Yep, that's the basic jist for me. I use TeleNav almost exclusively though so I never really investigated it... didn't know others were having issues.

No2Chem if you could build this rom with MSVC and pocket sand (it's a neat game) I would be Thrilled.

really depends on the registry tweaks you want. Seems that no2chem has the important ones in there, and from what I can tell, if you tell it do a tweak twice it won't hurt. (please someone correct me if I'm wrong about that)
If you really want to be sure, open his cleanselections.txt files and compare the tweaks with the ones you want to add from the kitchen. You can easily do this by creating your own selection file (save as function in the kitchen), open both your new file and no2Chems and copy a line and then a quick Alt Tab, Alt F, Ctrl V and see if it's already there. Should take all of 5 minutes.

and I'm officially going back to noob status... so n2c hasn't put out a Titan_No2Chem_5059_WM6.1 Selections.txt file? I had the understanding that he had one that was different from the 5054 selections...

Edit: he did, it's just called cleanselections.txt ... been a long day
Thanks a ton for your help. Rep added. It's people like you who make this community such a great place.

2) No "smart" dialing That is, trying to spell out the name of a contact in the dialer does not produce a list of the possible matches...does that make sense?

Just a heads up, this build is, as the trend clearly shows, the best yet!
I was corretced a couple of hundred posts back, when I stated that the Wizard big button dialer worked properly (well it didn't). I did discover through many forum posts that Pauls Big Button Dialer works fine. I noticed the missing smartdialer function on one of the newer No2chem Roms (5055 or so) and downloaded the Paul Big Button Dialer and Jimmys Smartdialer. With those installed the connection arrows and smartdialing are back. No2chem, if you are having issues with the ROM consider this fix in a future revision. Files attached. BTW the skin on the Big button dialer is the Vista skin from Poorlyduck's Vista Suite....
