Actually this is a first time I'm seeing this kind of issue. boot.rgu looks good in 5040 ROM dump... Am I using wrong tools? Thanks.

please use the files provided in basekit, rommaster is an old tool thats buggy anyway.

10.33.0600 signs in fine on latest rom, as well as 10.33.0700 oem works fine on 3.16 wm6.0 but not on the latest rom. It loads, just wont sign in, doesnt respond.

I haven't loaded up Live yet. Basically I've been keeping what I am loading because I am reflashing so often .

But I do have a question, what is different in .0700 from .0600?

I too am a Hotmail guy, so this could be an issue down the road once I settle on a ROM

Basically it renames Windows Live email account to hotmail, or msn depending on what type of account you have. Also, seems to notify you of new emails in the same way a new text message displays.

I'm having the same problem with the GPS. I've read all the posts about how the settings shoud be, which appear to already be set correctly in your ROM, and I'm using the google cab and it just seeks forever....

thanks again for the new xip, the encryption fix, and the refresh fix.

i noticed the same odd cutoff in your xip's boot.rgu when i dumped 5042 using xipport. i converted boot.hv to rgu and used that to rebuild mine with oem_flashdrv and lockstream stuff removed.

not sure what this indicates, and the xip is working fine.

Wow -- I had the GPS up and running with 90s (at most).
I may have a different procedure.

when i open up file explorer i see my sd card and Extended_Rom. theres cabs n whatnot in there but what is it?

I couldn't seem to find this discussed already, but is Rev A part of this update? I'm in a Rev A area and I'm getting a somewhat slower speed test a BBR than before.
