Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

supposedly sprint is finally releasing 3.35 tomorrow...
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20363
I finally got fed up the the leaked 3.16 and moved to No2Chem's (awesome btw, thx No2) but I figure I'll still try the official ROM tomorrow (if it does actually come out) since there are some issues still in 2.0 - random password issue, data connection...

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Not sure if this info helps...
I had the same problem with being unable to answer calls when on 2.17 and 3.16. I upgraded to No2Chem's 2.0 build 5049 and quit having the problem. I'm running all the same apps as before except for google maps, Nilisco Flashlight 2.0, PocketToolman2.26b16, Sprint TV, Esmertec Jbed, and Opera Mini. From what I can remember, the issue started around the time I installed Esmertec Jbed on 2.17. I doubt that Nilisco Flashlight is causing the problems since it doesnt have anything to do with a data connection. I read somewhere else that Google Maps may have been the culprit but I had been using that since 2.09 with no issues.
Is anyone else having the answering issue with build 5049 and has any or all of the above apps installed?

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Thanks for the work. I just got UC working at it kicks ***. I only had one problem during install, it would hang as Resco Explorer needed input as so with windows live. I removed the "LOCK:Enable LOCK:Disable" as I see in the main thread and replaced it with "HIDE:Enable HIDE:disable". This allows the programs to install in the backround while giving me the ability to see and imput info as needed like language for example.

GPSGate loaded and working like a charm. I even tracked myself with their cool online tracker. Never turned my phone radio on.

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

It has been said many times that SIPs are not working, so as of right now, I don't think anyone has gotten a keyboard to work correctly.

My messaging key at the top left doesn't work, nor does my green phone button. This is very annoying. Also, I really am not a fan of the new dialer and the way it pulls up contacts as you type. Is there any registry edit to make it the way it was before? I used Schapp's Adv Config to get the original dialer skin back, but it still doesn't drop down names as I type.

Ok. I've made a horrible mistake and I apologize to all. I kindof swap back and forth between No2's and DCD's ROM's. Happens that I had, actually loaded the DCD 2.3.2 kitchen and just simply lost my mind, temporarily. Sorry, everyone, and both of you guys (No2 and DCD) are amazing along with all other contributors.
