Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Hello,

I made this so that I could easily install all my programs after each rom update or whatnot without needing to edit any text files... just move whatever install files you want into or out of the "Installers" directory. Another plus is that you can install the programs from the "Remove Programs" list.

Hope this makes things easier for some people.

---

Unzip AutoRun.exe and Autorun.mscr to \Storage Card\AutoInstall\
Place any files you want run in \Storage Card\AutoInstall\Installers\
Run AutoRun.exe after you flash a new ROM or whenever you want to install all the programs in \Storage Card\AutoInstall\Installers\
(Note: You can actually unzip AutoRun.exe and Autorun.mscr anywhere you want, as long as you have \Installers\ in that directory.)

---

Edit: Whoops, broke the script when I modified it for general use. I had some other personalizations that I use for my own device. Fixed it though, it should work now.

Also forgot to mention that it installs the programs silently.

---

Edit: moved to an easier to update thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20753

Well, 5051 kicks major ***. Best ROM yet, and biggest improvement in a ROM in a long time. Thank you SO much.

Now is anyone else having an audio issue when in vibrate mode? I find that sometimes my speakers crackle when a sound would have played if it weren't in vibrate. When opening and closing my keyboard, for instance. Doesn't always happen, but often enough. Kind of odd...

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Just a note: I took out the battery for about 3 - 5 minutes. I didn't hard reset after that... but my phone is perfect thus far (2 hours post flash).... All of my programs work fine:

Resco Explorer
Resco Registry Editor
TCPMP w/all 8 extra codex plugins
Schaps' Adv Config
Pocket Mechanic 2.8
Live Search
SPB Weather
PPCPIMBACKUP
Adobe Reader
Samsung Clock Plugin

So far, perfect.

So then, why the need to hard reset before or after the battery discharge?

I noticed this too. I fixed by turning off and turning back on. I worry a little since some of my ringers are not work approved so if this error falls into other areas I could have problems. I'm running 5049 and likely will for awhile till 5051 proves itself.

Anyone have a pic so we don't have to install something and later figure out we don't like it?

Yup. There are a couple of threads around talking about. Has to do with iGuidance's not being compatable with the MS gps pointer or something. There are a couple of little apps that, supposedly, fix it. One actually launches it, bypasses the warning screen and points the gps to ig and keeps it on. You have to read cus I can't remember at the moment. My brain got twisted by work, today. I think the buld of the chatter is on xda-dev. I'm pretty sure that they have a great solution, though. You may want to try running Windows Live or Google Maps in the background in the mean time to keep the gps data flowing. There is definately a work-around, though. Do a search for "AstroGPSLauncher" here and on xda. You will find it. Astro works, too, but there is one specifically for ig. Good Luck!
