I don't think I did anything like that. I know I didn't remove stock files, that's for sure.
your booting into stock recovery, which should flash it fine..what about that BT speaker mod..did you flash that maybe?

Re: I have no idea how to update to 2.2...

Not that I know of, is there any way to check? I know I've done a few installs through there, but I didn't think I did anything like that. I mean, I might have, I honestly don't know.

And don't worry, I'll click it on every one when I'm done haha, I'm an appreciative fellow.

woot time to give ya 200 things to try so I can get a bunch of them jk lol (no one do this lol)

hmm..ok then there are 2 ways to proceed...one we can just flash you to EB13 via tool then EC05 update.zip (easy way)...Odin directly to EC05 (easy but but there are room for issues)...your data will end up being wiped both ways...so you will have to backup your stuff and hope everything goes through fine...

Other way is to do clockworkbackup, Odin to DI18, restore data via clockwork and then proceed to install via that update.zip

your call..

not the edenBT no but update.zip you can flash via stock recovery obviously...back in the day though, we didnt have clockwork redirector so only way to get into clockworkmod was the 3 key combo at boot....rebooting via any method including rom manager just took us to stock recovery.

Well you can only click it so many times a day anyway. I know, I've used all my thanks in a day a few times.

Re: I have no idea how to update to 2.2...

Ok, I'm going to toss something out here. The only way I know how to make a backup is Titanium, which is pretty cumbersome. If I can make a quick backup that will literally return me to the status quo, I don't care about wiping. I just don't feel like doing anything after.

Everything spoken after that might as well be in a foreign language, so I guess I'll take the easiest.

I mean, would the easiest way be to someone get it to redirect to clockwork recovery? It seems that would help at least, right? Unless I'm incapable of doing so at this stage.

flashing via clockwork prob wont help, you may wana do an extra clockwork backup...you know to load up custom busy box via titanium backup right?

Easiest way I find to give people is the EB13 tool (as it gives ya step by step instructions)..then update.zip to EC05..

You enter clockwork by shutting down your phone and powering on using VOL DOWN + CAMERA + POWER

One click root 2.5 would be great for CW with redirector. gTen will have that link for you in like 30 seconds.

MyBackup pro is great, I've heard My Root works well too.
