You guys need to odin back to stock, don't root, and take your phones to a sprint service center so they can fix your problems. There are so many battery saving tips, and if these things aren't working, you probably have a hardware problem.

16 hours yesterday on that rom off the charger and the battery was at 68% when I went to bed.

See, my issue is that some days, I get that. Other days, I get 2-4hrs.
Since flashing EB13 though, I haven't gotten it past 6hrs.

There was one time on the original stock with juicedefender, I got 25hrs and was still at 10-20%. that was awesome.

All this inconsistent BS makes me love my iPad more. I only have to charge this thing once a week and I use it ALL the time. Only one thing kills the battery on it too. If I spend time at my gf's, it will be dead over night. I think there is something wrong with her network. Even if my iPad is in my car, it drains the battery at about 10-12%/2hrs

First night after EB13 my battery drained completely by morning while the phone was sitting on my night table. Since then, after the first recharge, my battery performance has been at least 50% better than it was with Eclair. And it was pretty good with Eclair and Ultimate JD! I'm running on stock and haven't re-rooted yet. (My z4root app didn't work on 2.2, even after a hard reset so I'll have to try the conventional root procedure.)

9pm to 11:47pm and its down from 100% to 50%.

ok, as soon as SMS Backup+ finishes backing up my SMS to google (10K left out of 38K), I'm going to flash midnight v4.1 since this is ridiculous. I took it off the charger at 7:30am. It was claiming 100% full. I walk to the bathroom and it was immediately at 70%. Then from 7:30am to 9:30am, it went steadily down from 70% to under 20% and gave me the warning.

I don't think there is any rom in the world that would cause what is wrong with your phone. I think something physically has fried inside your phone. you should Odin back to stock EB13 and take it back to sprint and get a new one. just tell them the ota fried your phone.

I'd concur... I'm on EB13 and midNIGHT 4.1 and my battery life is as good as DK28 from what I can tell so far... midNIGHT has the newest kernel built in already so just flash and set up setcpu...
