ok, I backed up a bunch of times with titanium and was about to restore with titanium and decided to open txts one last time... and it worked great! 27,503 txts backing up.

why in the world do you need to keep all of those texts?? maybe its just me coming from flashing roms on a regular basis in winmo so you never really acquire that many....???

keep telling people titanium is junk, try 30trial of my backup pro.

yes yes yes yes yes.battery sucks big time. on the stock Eclair 2.1 i used to get alot of hours on stand by mode and of heavy usage about 4 hours maybe.. now after the froyo update the battery last 1/2 of the time that i used to on stock Eclair... This is just on phone calls not even 2 hours. well at least thats what happened to me last night. so i can only imagine how would it be on preatty havy usage like on the stock ROM.... i fully charge the battery to it off the charge to make 3 phone calls and those calls didnt even last 2 hours and the damn thing was already beeping low battery. i almost smashed the damn phone.. i dont think its a bad battery. this phone its not even 2 weeks old and i fully charge the battery nonestop and drain the battery ontil phone shuts off by it self.. so thats why i dont think its a bad battery.. all this started happening after the Froyo 2.2 update.. iam glad that revaaron posted this topic before i did.. and as all you guys can see this is using official stock ROMS from samsumg. iam not using costum ROMS.. or i shold say this issue is happening using stock ROMS since that is what i have been using since day one.. I tought i was the only one having this issue and i didnt post it. but shit last night y blew a gaskit with the battery going dead 2 times yesterday.. i even cleared the battery stats on clockwork as a saw that on a thread where it said something about cleaning the battery stats should improve battery lfe and i did what it said to drain the battery and fully charge the battery like i always do and still no luck....any brilliant ideas on what kernel or patch or setting shoud i use in order to improve this issue???

you are 100% incorrect since I came from a TP2 and 22,217 + 912 of these texts are from my TP2. so try again. I also flashed my TP2 ever other week. I don't use my phone. I hate talking on my phone. If someone doesn't txt me and they call me, I very rudely tell them to just text me.

OK, today... I got 2hrs and 10 minutes for the phone to go from 100% to "low battery" what was the phone doing that whole time? SITTING IN MY CAR WHILE I WAS IN THE GYM. Laughable.

Bad Battery? My phone has been off the charger 10.5 hours and is at 79% right now. Running midNIGHT 4.1, Genocide Kernel, Set CPU set to conservative, and DRM killed.

Wow, I don't know what is up with your battery usage. I get what I consider lousy battery life while at work because the signal is so weak my phone is constantly searching for a signal, and it still lasts around 8 hours. If I'm out and about where there is a good signal I can get 18+ hours out of it with regular use. Maybe you guys have some processes running in the background that are eating up your battery. Make sure you freeze DRM Services in Titanium Backup - that's a big battery killer. If you have already done that then I don't know what to tell you other than something is wrong. That is definitely NOT what you should be getting for battery life.

I noticed when I pulled it off the charger (100% charged) it dropped down to 35% and then by the time I was off to work, it was complaining about the battery.
