Check your installed apps to see if something is automatically launching and draining your battery.

I'm at a concert using the phone for reviews... 5hrs left and only the battery I turning the phone off now. I have everything turned off except 3g. 30% down in 10 minutes would be stupid.

Maybe your in an area where 3g is not stable causing it to connect and reconnect? There is an App called Juice Defender which pretty much turns off 3g(and uses 1x instead) while phone is off..maybe that will help?

I use juice defender and optimum juice.. I have extended my battery life my 2.16 times according to the calc.. it's an amazing piece of software IMO..

people were complaining that juice defender made their devices sluggish.

I installed juice defender and the battery life kept on going down at the same clip... then I saw that juice defender for some reason turned on my wifi (which I've turned on once just to see if it worked). I turned that off and the steady decline in the past couple minutes look like it stopped.

Well it depends how you configure it...you can try it, if you don't iek it or experience issues you can easily uninstall it.

the stead clip has flattened out a lot. the one thing is that I don't get my work emails instantly from push mail anymore. it's every 5 minutes.

What protocol are you using for push mail..via IMAP idle or SMS?

Also might want to try K-9 Mail
