I have been working on a little suprise and I almost have it done. No, it's not a new ROM. It is however, the midNIGHT dialer. I really like it. I have 1 image file I need to fix before I release it. I'll finish up tomorrow evening. I'll be at the Children's hosital most of the day again with my 2 year old. When I get home I'll try to finish it and get it to you.....

i flashed new build over old build with no issues, i only wipe if i go from cook to cook.

I can second that. As long as its an update from the same dev it usually works without any issues. Having said that, I also have discovered that using clockwork data restore over and over and over from ROM to ROM to ROM (all from different cooks) will eventually corrupt your data. I flashed 5 or 6 different ROMS, all from different cooks over a month and at the end of it my phone had so many FC's and errors that I had to wipe everything and start over from scratch. Titanium Backup worked great for restoring my apps (I didn't want to lose all my progress on Angry Birds LOL!). But I had to put everything else back together manually. Since then I have stuck with the midNIGHT ROM exclusively and have done both update without wiping and with wiping and using clockwork data restore. So far no problems at all.

New dialer is up in the 2nd thread. Do to limitations here I have screens posted at XDA. I'll get them here later but I have to go now.

2nd post is updated with dialer link and link to screens.

agree 100%....I have said it many times...cw is way to buggy to depend on....

mellowing in your "old age?" *slams the brakes* I wouldn't said that if I were you... because I know from my experience "the elderly" do get offended as have my in laws they'd be easily offended no matter how you look at it. It's like saying old people get grumpy which in our experience is how we in today's society view them which is true but it's wrong.

Not even close. gTen got into a pretty drawn out WinMo vs Android discussion with 2Bunny a few weeks ago. Some of those had like a dozen or more quotes in each one LOL.

I agree it is time consuming....but that's why I said every so often...believe me it can get corrupt easily....media is the longest...but what I do is just do it when backing my media up....and I remove uneeded media....old pics and stuff...just leave em on my backup....
