midNIGHT ROM DK28 (Froyo) old see the new thread

I don't know if anyone is experiencing this bothersome experience... It could be just me or I don't know if it has anything to do with this rom...

No theme installed yet.

Installed 2.2.1 and now MOST of my apps on the sd card no longer show up in the app menu/drawer. Also noticed I got a FC on some apps like Tweetdeck and Brother In Arms 2 for the first time... But Tweetdeck isn't on the sd card. I did nandroid backup, and I restore sd-ext and data and reboot... the sd apps is still an issue. So I'm going back to version 9. Although this version was stock..., why did OP replace the calculator?

Second -With version 9 (before I discovered midnight's new version 2.2.1) I almost forgot to mention about wifi problems.... I was installing an new game app while being in Airplane mode, finished installing the app then I disable airplane mode SOMETIMES my wifi doesn't turn on anymore... I literally tried to turn it on manually but with no success. Only way to fix it was a reboot. Again, anyone experiencing that... or is it just me?

Okay sorry, I did everything all over and I see it changed the battery from stock, but midNIGHT Theme v2.1a w/AOSP Lockscreen gave me a green battery not a blue one like in the pic.

No wifi issues for me at all.

Those having a negative experience with the Data Gov Removed you can add it back..

That would be my fault, the link was bad. It's fixed now so feel free to redownload and flash. You'll get the blue battery now.

@ youngblack, not trying to be mean and i also did this on one epic but you may need to go back to stock and kill all your backups (clockwork/titanium ect.) and start over then load your apps games when you get flashed to this rom then make a backup. i still think guys that flash lots of cooks roms are dragging a issue from rom to rom and there might be a compatibility issue going on, you seem to always have issues in rom threads that i never see posted. (wifi)

I was going to edit my post... but you got here before I could. That's exactly what I did and everything seems to go as planned. See before I was I went from version 9 to version 2.2.1 and it seems that didn't go as planned.

So I ended up wiping whole thing 3 times (data and cache) then flash midnight's new stock 2.2.1 and restore everything (not just data and sd-ext) I restore everything... as it turns out, all my sd apps are there. Just one of my games... dungeon hunter came fired up said "this is not original copy" But I uninstalled/reinstalled it and everything seems perfectly working.

I see a lot of us, not just me flash from rom to rom and you are correct on the compatibility issue.

so im usually mean? the reason the game did that is cause i bet you got that free when gameloft gave it away for a week and now sync dont understand that so it cant load it off boot. there other free full games do samething.
