Wow.. I just had to go thru like 5 pages since last time I visited here. So the new version is up.. I'm looking to download it right now. Did the rumored official 2.2.1 come out yet? I'm pretty sure this one's better than the official... so how is your experience with official stock compared to this rom...anybody?

edit: I guess I'm so far behind what's happened lately... no official froyo update for the epic

I guess upgrading the midnight 2.2.1 will do.

I guess upgrading the midnight 2.2.1 will do.

The official upgrade didn't make it. Some time in January seems is the new target date. The new Midnight rom may be the best I've used yet. If it proves to be stable with decent battery life over the next couple of days I'm thinking I'll skip on the official and just use this one. I'm sure the better aspects of the official will show up in custom roms soon after it's release. Thanks again ptfdmedic.

I followed the directions to use v2.1.1, but I tried to update the theme .zip but nothing got changed. I still see the same battery, same dialpad, etc. I tried to apply it 3 times now with no success. Am I missing some step or something? Thanks and I really like this ROM.

You will see the same battery until you pick a theme and flash it. You can chec the build number in the settings to make the flash happened correctly.

I also sent something yesterday.

2 questions.
How do I remove the "removed data limit" I use to get 10m down on 2.0.9 now I only get 3m.

How do I install themes?

Download the theme you want from the 2nd post & place it on your sdcard then install it through clockworkmod. I hope this helps you out.
