it took almost exactly the same amount of time for Verizon to release the XV6800 official rom update, the only difference was that sprint had the Mogul and their update came out a couple months earlier and people were able to flash and use kitchens to "Verizonize" their phones...

thats what this mean - " Open Standalone LBS Supported and Performance Enhanced (This may Support 3rd Party Applications)."

LBS is "location based services/software" or something like that...

Yes. The site mentions:

Open Standalone LBS Supported and Performance Enhanced (This may Support 3rd Party Applications)

That's geek-speak for unlocked GPS

Although the word "standalone" in there makes me think that a-GPS will NOT be enabled. Only regular GPS

Am I missing something? I can find the information on how to install it (on Windows XP 32 bit), but can't find the actual file itself...?
