? Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\FATFS
Changed - CacheSize to 4096

Navigate to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\StorageManager\Filters\f sreplxfilt]
Change ReplStoreCacheSize dword decimal value to 4096 or 8192
My initial limit was only 8192, not 16384....

I also don't even see the last registry line in the phone at all.

Also I don't know if this has been covered, but you can just drop an MP3 into the "Rings" folder and have it work as a ring tone for incoming calls. I just downloaded that obnoxious ring tone from the Geico commercial in MP3 format and it works great.

Re: Haus Intrepid Tips and Tricks

Anybody have any luck with activesync-ing via bluetooth? I'm able to establish a connection with my computer and send files via "bluetooth ftp" onto my phone, but i haven't had any luck establishing a connection via bluetooth to activesync. Also, i can activesync just fine with the cable.

+1, I do it all the time too. You need to create an incoming COM port in your bluetooth settings, then in Connection Settings (in activesync) 'allow connections to one of the following' and select that COM port. You initiate communication from the phone.

obviously the PPC and PC have to be paired first.

Just thought I'd let everyone know, I made these few changes, and it seems to have made the Intrepid a brand new phone. I haven't had to reset it in a very long time, it seems much faster, and it hasn't malfunctioned once.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile 6.0) Sprint-SPH-i350)

I'm trying these now...if they don't cause any issues I'll add them to page 1 with credit and thanks.

Re: Haus Intrepid Tips and Tricks

How is it again that you set text messaging(when sending on new message) to use the simple interface instead of the button interface? Where is this setting made, exactly?

Re: Haus Intrepid Tips and Tricks

AFAIK you can't change the outgoing SMS system. You can follow my post on the first page of this thread to set classic (vs. threaded) messaging for incoming SMS.
