Re: Why is everyone leaving the diamond???
I have a 16 gig Sandisk card in mine with 2 gigs free at this point, 4 gigs of storage is stoneage technology.
Both phones are equal in speed if set up the same way. ~John |

Re: Why is everyone leaving the diamond???
I agree with darren i actially have 2 pros and a diamond but the memory and flash are a must but i have mixed thoughts about both i think that the pro is built cheaper than the diamond because of that chrome but seriosly i choose pro over diamond

Re: Why is everyone leaving the diamond???
Some people have forgotten that the HTC Touch Diamond is a phone. Most phones out there barely even have 32mb to hold all of the information required to perform correctly. Having 8, 16 or more GB to hold videos and other non pertinent information in a device is unnecessary in a phone. Even in an iPod with 160GB of memory, once you see a video or movie what is the point of keeping on there? Are you going to watch it repeatedly over and over until your battery runs out? I can understand wanting to put music on your phone, but the majority of people don't even listen to 10% of their music collection (390 songs for me). What could you possibly want to have on your phone that you could not have stored on a flash drive that can easily accompany you at all times.
The Diamond is a phone. A phone that can do many wonderful things. It is slim and sexy. Even the people that are turned off by 4GB of internal storage can and will find a way around it. I can barely feel my Diamond in my pocket. Even now that I can easily trade my Diamond in for a TP I would never even imagine myself doing so. |

Re: Why is everyone leaving the diamond???
I am touch pro user. I write novels when i text, or send emails. This is my 1st PPC. And I am completely in luv with the device. I am a small business owner and clarity is a must, so the whole 2 hands to type is okay for me, besides last i checked 2 hands on the wheel is better than 1. So pull the ---- over if u got to use ur device. Now my question is, i would like to get my wife the diamond. But I would like to know if its user friendly or do u have to be savy to operate it.

It is sad to see the developers all go pro. But at least they left us Diamond folks with some nice ROMs that we can keep using. Just no more upgrades. |

Re: Why is everyone leaving the diamond???
I'm definitely sticking with the diamond over the pro. Smaller is better. I do light texting so the extra bulk of the keyboard is a big negative for me. The camera flash is really not much use to me and I doubt I will fill up 4GB on a phone.
