Re: Want to upgrade from Sprint Touch to Diamond or Pro
Here is my set up, J2.4 with VZW Radio: Battery life is amazing, im writing this post with my Diamond on 4 bars of juice, I unplugged it this morning around 11 with moderate use. As for speed and memory, I usually have 125 to 130mb's of space remaining. Which is about 37 to 38 percent being used. As for performance this thing flys, never lags, and I usually multi-task with the Opera web browser and BeeJive IM.
So there ya go. |

that was my next question... i'm using Juicy 2.5 and hopefully, that will work with the VZW Radio.

Re: Want to upgrade from Sprint Touch to Diamond or Pro
Depends if you like carrying a brick in your pocket.
Added weight added thinkness, no way for me. Same battery same heat from what I read. Depends on your signal strength.

Re: Want to upgrade from Sprint Touch to Diamond or Pro
it all boils down to preference. everyone has a different story to tell in regards to which one they think is better. personally, your best best would be to go to a place like best buy or the sprint store and play with the pro. hold it it in your hand, play with the keyboard, just see how it feels to you. i had the diamond and loved it outside of the heating issue, then i went ahead and upgraded to the pro because i love the physical keyboard. the thickness really wasnt a factor to me at all and mine was well built. i have yet to really add any tweaks to it as of yet since this thing amazed me right out of the box. the screen sensitivity was perfect, the volume was cool, and there was no lagging whatsoever when switching from portrait to landscape when sliding out the keyboard. all in all its just about what u prefer so i suggest playing with it first and that should help u better in your overall decision.
