No I meant no video recording, just pictures, it does indeed record video up to 30 seconds if you jailbreak it, but I posted the negatives before you start messing with it.

I'm sure they will come out with something soon that increased the recording opertunity

What video transfer concerns, I just watch hi def comparison of Minority report on my iPhone.

Re: Why I bought an Iphone 3G

The one thing i will say is that to each his own, and it seems like the iphone, is a decent phone, but the customizing on the wm phoens re the best. the touch is one of the beter phones i have ever used, wih it able to do so much more then the iphone,m it might not be great at frist, that is why you hvae custom roms.

I have just always felt like the iphone was for the wannabe, and that the wm was for ppl that actually knew what they were doing, and could change the phone to each of his own liking. the iphone locks all of the fun stuff down and so that just makes it not that great, and over rated.

i wouldn't say its for the wannabe, i'd say its for those who don't care to customize and just want something easy to use, attractive, reliable and fun (have you seen or played the game Monkey Ball on the iphone? Fantastic and addicting)...

Its not exactly who's a rookie and who's not... its just that some people absorb and utilize technology differently

and i am a technology junky, thats why i'm here

Re: Why I bought an Iphone 3G

the iPhone is a great device. has tons of features with the new update and it has a ton of potential. if it had video recording and pic mail capabilities, it would be damn near perfect.
