I called the SERO number to order phones, and the rep told me that I could order the treo 800w tomorrow, because I am worried about losing the SERO plan for $30 a month. He said that he has seen the dates get delayed, because with the Blackberry Curve (i think that's what he said), it got delayed two weeks. So here's hoping I can add a Treo 800w and a new $30 SERO line for my pops tomorrow *fingers crossed*

I ordered mine about two hours ago from business sales line. I dont even have bus account
Just thought i would try, they didnt even ask me.
I have a sero account.

They said it should ship tommorrow and i should have it by monday

Yeah i ordered mine around 1pm, but the check your order status, showed backorder, so i called the number there, and the foreigner said he'd have to check with inventory and it said they don't have it in inventory, so tomorrow i'm going to call the sero line again and see what's up, they also mis priced a katana dlx i ordered for my mom, oh well i was at work with no internet access. i'll keep you guys updated

So i called the SERO line today, she confirmed the pricing of the treo and the katana (i was overcharged by $80), transferred me to the order support desk, person said treo 800w launches the 13th, all the phones who have had it ordered have shown backordered (according to her), so she said 3-5 business days from the 13th i can expect it. Also I have to call back on the 13th because she doesn't see the phone on the website and can't see the price and she was too lazy or ignorant to call the SERO line. The check your order status shows 3-5 business days instead of backorder, hmm

Ok I don't say to much on here . I am going to have say something . I have a mogul I have it for about month ,and I pick up a 700wx as a back up phone off ebay . I went ahead and put a line on it ,and I have not used the mogul since . I am thinking about selling the mogul and buying the 800 w .with the treo u can do everything with one hand . I like that alot as far as texting .

Welcome to the Palm Treo 700wx to 800w Family. If you look under the Thread for the Treo 700wx you will find that many owners are still very happy with thier almost 2 year old phone over the current ones, and see that many where so impressed with the 700wx that they will definatly upgrade to the 800w. Not to say its perfect, but based on its predecessor the 800w will probebely be a very solid pocket pc. A dependable work horse if you will of its time.

I second this 100% I am still thrilled with my wx, after almost two years of hard use, it is rock solid!!! I am not upgrading for any other reason other than I have high aspirations for the 800w when VZW gets it!!! I am waiting for more 'compatability' with software, but by the time VZW gets it, most issues should have been addressed!!!

yeah it's getting to be really whacky, first the price wasn't given to me properly, and now the phone number isn't porting over (on the sanyo) the palm 800w shows up as a scheduled delivery for tomorrow, when i sign onto the website it doesn't show my new two phones i = scared
