trying to send a test picture to my email address... it just stays in the outbox, but everything else seems to be working fine.

Any suggestions?

MMS (pics) won't work yet with the new file, they are still working on it

This is funny why do you doubt this? I have a reason to lie about this. The person that did it already confirmed he did.

Once you double click on the .cab there is nothing to do and those instructions become a mute point. It installs itself, you reset and it works. I deleted the file after I installed it and thats why it no longer worked. I went back and reinstalled it reset and it works.

Becareful of accusations..

HAHA no accustaions here, you obviously didn't read it thoroughly.

What I DOUBTED was that Mike sent you the CAB, instead of the ZIP file, which was proven correct. I do not doubt your statements, please re-read. I will move on...

Installing the cab is NOT all that you do, far from it actually. Read the HOWTO file that you extracted from the zip file. The instructions I posted at TC are also for the newest file, beta 4. You have to copy those files to the windows folder...

nall she was having issues with extravting from the .zip she said she was getting like 85 files :? so I sent her the .cab and the .txt aready extracted to make it alittle more less confusing. :laughing6:

Gotcha. She definitely didn't get those files over.

Wideawake 11-08-2006 12:09 PM

yeap ;)

all I know, coincidently  , is that if you use Winzip and open a zip file and there is a .cab in there and for some odd reason, you decide to double-click that .cab file, it'll open the cab...literally. You'll see it's contents (.cabs after all are compressed installation programs).

Guess how many files are in the Palm Messaging B4 .cab? 85

So she was attempting to unpack the .cab directly.
