I would still get them when I turned them off in outlook as well. Its like Verizon knows I don't want them and I am getting them crammed down my throat lol. I f there is any other ideas im more then willing to give it a shot!

Hey there I have another question for you one related to this thread and one not.

1. I installed the messaging and its working ok, but sometimes text messages are not going to that and the orignal text messanger install on the treo. I can send from this program here but not receive. I deleted the .cab from the download did that somehow affect it?

2. If my phone has gone to sleep and a call comes in the phone will not light up and i cant see who is calling do you know how to fix that?

Are you 100% sure that you selected "show all files" in RESCO before pasting to your Windows directory? Sounds like a couple pf files did not overwrite properly. Retry the copy & paste procedure (making sure all files are shown), soft reset, and check again

I did not install mine that way. I was sent to me in an email (by one of the moderator's here) and I installed it. I have no idea what a RESCO is.

When you extract the zip file that was emailed to you, there is a step-by-step install procedure along with the cab. Follow that to the tee. If you were emailed the cab file, which I doubt, read this...
