Can anyone who's done the upgrade tell me if they still use their phone as a modem?

I installed it several times and same result (no protector touch works/protector touch doesn't work). Same protector on verizon 750v and works fine so its not the product.. go figure.
I suspect you probably have one of the corners or edges of the screen protector bent under the edge of the screen frame. Since the screen protector is effectively doubled up in that one corner it is permanently pressing against the screen. Once the touchscreen is being pushed down anywhere (in this case permanently) then it will accept no further input from you no matter where or when you click on the touchscreen. Even if the bend is less than a millimeter it can have the same effect.

Remove the protector and see if you can find the offending corner or edge, flatten it out, reinstall and see if that helps.

If you are absolutely sure the protector is not bent then it is also possible that the protector is somehow too thick or somehow it is otherwise permanently pressing down on the screen when installed. See if you can figure it out. Good luck.

I did have it stuck under an edge the first time, took it out and cut it smaller then replaced, same result. I have the second screen of this on a 755 and it works fine.. strangee but not a big deal, I am just not using a protector at the moment.

Lattisimo,

I tried the intructions you put up about manually flashing the phone, but no matter what I do or what PC I do it on, it says that it can't open the USB connection... Am I missing something?

Try giving a call to Sprint tech support. They can transfer you to Palm to help get it fixed or replace your device if you bricked it.

After the 1.15 update I've had trouble with Flexmail. I get two different error messages:
FlexMail 2007 Exception
Exception Code C0000005h at address 03F8131Ch

and

"Problem with gwes.exe"

Anyone else using Flexmail? Or can anyone suggest a decent email client that has good IMAP support?
