Just got this from Palm:

This is a correction to the email sent Tuesday September 18, 2007.
The two changes are:

* The correct and current update version number is 1.15 (the previous email referenced version 1.20 in error)

Hello. i tried doing the update. basically the turbo sfx kicks in, and after it's finished, notepad pops up with html code. please help. my phone was connected to PC via activesync. i did everything according to the sprint instructions!

I strongly suggest that people consider this update before doing it on their phone. It has issues and after the update, you will not be able to connect to internet via USB cable.

For my experience, if the phone is working for you with no issues, well I recommend not to update.

Well, I've friggen had it! Finally got the update to work, lost all my contacts, performed a Sprite Restore, everything came back except for contacts. Now the damn thing will connect to active sync, but will not actually perform a sync. I'm on the phone with sprint technical support right now. I'm going to shoot for a replacement phone.....namely the Mogul. I'll let you all know how it goes.

How'd your convo go with Sprint?

i have been without my phone for a week now and its killin me im waiting for palm to send me my friggin back up, but i tried to update it and i keep getting this message over and over again. The phone will not turn on (call wise) to make calls or receive calls i have done a hard reset, soft reset and everything. everything is gone off of the phone but i still cant make any calls or get it to turn back on any help

Is it true that if I update to 1.15 I won't be able to use my phone as a modem any more?
