It took mine 40 minutes to update. Does it get stuck or does it just get real slow? Did you take your storage card out?

Question for those of you with the AD2P hack... is it better to uninstall before the update or leave as is? Is this update simply what the hack gave us or is there any other benefit (one way or the other) to be aware of?
Thanks! |

I didn't uninstall my hack prior to running the update. I've read at TC where it is recommended that you uninstall it.
That being said I have not had any problems with BT. So I guess my answer is, "it depends". If you're not comfortable doing the upgrade that I would suggest staying away from it. late, Coz |

When I tried the update it did not work at all. I followed the problem solving hints on Palm and know I can't even download the update from palm, I keep getting an error message. I have a trouble ticket, with palm, anyone else having this issue?

I bricked mine. It backed up without any problems and was in the process of loading up and my Activesync disconnected. I could never get it to recognize the device after that. It stayed that way for a couple of hours after which I disconnected the cable and removed the battery. I got the following message after replacing the battery
4.13 4.13.00 on the treo welcome screen and the keyboard lights stayed on. I got the treo in December 06, so still under warranty. I took it to the nearest sprint store and had it replaced with no questions asked for $35 ( I do not have the protection plan). It seems worth investing in that though. |
