I bricked mine. It backed up without any problems and was in the process of loading up and my Activesync disconnected. I could never get it to recognize the device after that. It stayed that way for a couple of hours after which I disconnected the cable and removed the battery. I got the following message after replacing the battery
4.13 4.13.00 on the treo welcome screen and the keyboard lights stayed on. I got the treo in December 06, so still under warranty. I took it to the nearest sprint store and had it replaced with no questions asked for $35 ( I do not have the protection plan). It seems worth investing in that though.
