im using a alltel 700wx with the sprint software. just downloaded the software and wammo up and running seems to be faster than pda net.

Different device on each USB port
Is there a reason why my Treo is recognized as a different device when I try to tether with different USB ports?
And when it isn't tethered, I have different "Local Area Connection #x" where x = 2, 3, 4, 5... I would love to just have one device to tether with.

It works for me as well. I'm currently using this at the present moment. Thanks for the excellent write-up on how to do this, guess I won't need that 6700 after all....

Using Treo as a modem for mac computers
Does anybody know how to configure a treo 700wx to use as a modem for mac computer. Any help will great appreciated. Thank you!

Correct me if I'm wrong - this method is a great substitute for using PDANet, providing undetected tethering just as effectively?
