The cheapest no-contract, no-minimum number of addresses, full-fledged hosted Exchange service I've found is www.sherweb.com. $8.99/mo flat. I left them for the $1.99 mail2web plan. Though I do miss the desktop Outlook support, I don't miss paying an extra $7/mo for it when I can live without it. |

Mail2web seems to work great... thanks for the info!
One question, though. I'd like to set it up to mask the "@mail2web.com", so it appears I'm sending from my work email address, or from my GMail. I was able to do this with my Blackberry... is it possible here? I wouldn't mind paying $1.99 a month for the capability, either. |

It's under your settings via the Mail2web page account and is called SMTP Proxy. Just look for that and follow the directions there and you'll be able to have a specific return address for email. |

I don't suppose it's possible to set up multiple Exchange accounts? I want my GMail and my work account... checking with POP3 is dominating my battery. |

Yeah... I currently have it set up so that my GMail forwards to the mail2web Exchange account, which is then pushed to the phone.
I'm hesitant to mix my personal and work accounts, since emails can be discoverable and some of the stuff I receive on the personal side is not exactly SFW =P Thanks for all your help... learning a lot about the 700wx from this board. |

I got a question. Is there a way to sync my pc with my mail2web account?
Reason is this, my Phone now syncs contacts with the mail2web account, but not with my pc. So, my pc no longer stays up to date. Can I fix this?

If you wanna pay for it
You can sync your PC with your mail2web account only if you wanna pay the $20 a month for a personal exchange server service. The way I keep everything up to date is this:
I have all my pop (and gmail) accounts forwarded to my mail2web account (just like you have) which are then pushed to my 6700. It of course also syncs contancts, notes, etc with the mail2web service. When I select forward my mail in my pop/gmail accounts I choose the option to leave a copy on the server. I then use outlook (on my laptop) to download all my mail. That way every message gets pushed to the 6700 and downloaded to my laptop. When I sync my 6700 with the mail2web server I choose to have the 6700 overwrite everything on the server if both items have been edited. Likewise when I sync my 6700 with my laptop I choose to have my 6700 overwrite if both items have been changed (since more often then not if I change something it's on my 6700). Otherwise, when you sync, it does just what it says, it syncs. This way my mail2web and laptop outlook files are exactly the same. Yes you have to sync the 6700 with the laptop everyday, but to me it's not a big deal, I just plug it in at night and it syncs with the laptop and the mail2web server at the same time via my laptops internet connection. It takes an hour or so to get everything set up, but once you do, there is nothing too it. It just does, it's thing. It's great. I know that was long winded, but I hope it helps. |

You can sync both, but I do not recommend keeping it that way. It might lead to duplicates.
Just go back into your PC's activesync options and re-check contacts. Sync them and then un-check it. You'll be good to go. Worked for me when I had to use a temporary non-wm phone for a few days |
