Re: Verizon i910 6.1 and 6.5 Kitchens Ready
Syakr is not needed for the 6.5 kitchen, and could end up breaking things, so I removed it. The kitchen is ready to cook, but way out of date, so update it with the instructions provided. I try to keep the updates flowing.

Re: Verizon i910 6.1 and 6.5 Kitchens Ready
Thanks for the quick reply. So if no saykr then do I manually remove things?
I've been running filesystem monitor apps to see what is going on in the background of the in the 1.3 kitchen so I can do manual removes. Looks like saykr is actually a ruby interpreter or comiler thats executing out of "C:\Documents and Settings\username\eee\eee.syakr.exe\bin\". I don't know much about Ruby. I thought it was more or less a server side scripting engine like PHP or ASP. I am surely going about this the wrong way. LOL!! It just seems so foreign to me. |

Well, not much is left for Syakr to remove
![]() If you feel comfortable with Syakr, you can use the one out of my 1.3 kitchen. |

What I'm really trying to do is get a WM6.5 build that does not have that pesky task switcher enabled. Thats really the reason that I stopped flashing when I found your v1.4 WM6.1 build. I use the omnia in landscape mode w/ autorotation disabled and assigned to a button. With the taskswitcher enabled, it drives me nuts trying to scroll because in landscape mode, swiping from bottom to top is pretty easy to do when scrolling a webpage. There does not seem to be a way to disable that or remove it from the BuildOS program. |
