hehe, that's where your wrong, I hate the iPhone and I want to see WM do well, but they are doing everything wrong

HTC is already started to move to Android (HTC Hero), it's just testing the waters and so far....they like the water

Dell is coming out with a new PPC, Android...

And Motorola as well, which there is no confirmation on if it will be WM or Android, but most likely Android....

Now back to the topic, I hate iPhone, but I hate people more who just think WM is the **** and everything else is no comparison, because how many times do people update their software and ROMs and SYS and XIPs and everything....iPhone rarely ever updates and if it does it's usually major

You know the difference between 21820 and 23001? gwes.exe and a few other files....nice I just updated for basically nothing, and maybe a few typos, and I can bet they will keep updating and updating, and updating....

iPhone, Android, WebOS.....they barely ever update, now I know people would rather have an OS that updates every day, but I would rather have a perfect or nearly perfect OS right when I get it

@ codybear sorry to bring the bad news but the touch pro 2 will not be able to upgrade to winmo7 its maxed out with winmo 6.5. Look at the specs NEEDED to run winmo7 than the specs of the tp2 and you will see. In order for any phone to run winmo7 it will be a brand new phone I believe someone feel free to step in and correct me if I'm wrong but from what I was reading winmo 6.5 is the last stop for any phone coming out this year.

Check out HTC SuperStar, if that can't run WM 7, then it is a sad sad world because that was going to be the next device I was going to get it

I kinda agree whosdaman. I would like a near perfect phone out of the box too. But to be honest, My TP worked out of the box and there was only one update and that was pic mail. All these other updates or build differences are basically for beta testing purposes, not actual updates by the manufacturer, carrier, and M$. Sprint, has not released any type of rom or hardware update since the TP's conception. Dumb on thier part for thinking that the sprint TP is perfect. It's far from it and needs an update, imo. But to be honest, as long as I keep my phone simple, no rom upgrades (which I have tried em all) and no flashing radios, and adding all sorts of enhancement apps, my TP runs great except for some sluggishness here and there.

Why do you constantly compare these beta, not even released versions of windows 6.5 to a finished final iphone OS??? You must not understand the difference. Once Windows releases a final OS such as 6.1 they rarely send out updates. They like to get it right the first time. Some looks at this as a negative. I guess that would be a positive in your book.

I'm aware of that phone but I'm saying the tp2 won't be getting winmo 7 upgrade nor any phone coming out this year just because they don't have the specs for winmo 7. I think M$ said that when winmo 7 comes out it will be on a new phone not upgrade.

i made a joke about 20 minutes ago to the wife and asked her if she had gotten an Iphone behind my back and tried to flush it in that toilet. She said no no, it was all the love notes I wrote her when we were dating!!! LOL....i feel now like I have a hand print across my face!! It's ok though...while she's sleeping, I'll go and erase all her contacts out of her pre and then set a password on it!!! Take that woman!!!

Yeah it sucks, nothing I can do about it till friday. The plumbers must have a crap load to do!! Pun intended......
