i get error message it disconnected while attempting to unlock . It was not disconnected . now what

did you unlock the phone successfully? go into bootloader and see what it says... PM me if you haven't solved it yet... i'll be on and off the forum throughout tonight, maybe you'll catchme

i pressed power and camera and didn't open bootloader .

if you are using a sprint touch(vogue), you need to hold down camera and power together and with the other hand use the stylus to press the soft reset button under the phone next to the charging usb port (keep holding down power and camera until you see the tri color bootloader)...

then what ? I read where after you get to the boot loader you then hard reboot and then replug in your connector and then try to load the new rom ,but then iI didn't get a reconnection to sync. It seems to be disconnecting when I run the unlocker

its not suppose to sync with activesync or anything for flashing roms and even unlocking... it only needs to be recognized at the very beginning of the unlock process and then it drops out and specifically asks to to unplug and replug your phone, in bootloader its recognized as generic...

if your bootloader says the Following, then you are unlocked:

VOGU100 MFG
SPL-2.31.Coke
CPLD-3

Serial

now go into bootloader, connect the phone via usb, don't worry about "syncing" and run the romupdateutility.exe... you should be good to go.

keep getting error 262 and don't know how to prevent this or get it to load up the new rom

you can't flash a rom cuz you are still locked...

connect your phone (NOT in bootloader.... regualar) via activesync, then run the 2.31 unlocker .exe...

the command prompt will pop up and give you directions... follow them carefully..
THEN when you have completed the process, you will be able to flash the rom... you can't flash a rom until you are unlocked with 2.31 written in your bootloader
